May 2021: New Kids & Teen Books at the Takoma Park Maryland Library

We've got a great new crop of books for kids and teens at the Takoma Park Maryland Library!

Among our new picture books is A Rock From the Sky, the newest book by Caldecott Medalist Jon Klassen, and Keeping the City Going by Caldecott Medalist Brian Floca. We've also got a trio of fun new books for beginning readers.

If your child is a non-fiction lover, we have a terrific selection of new books on everything from Native Americans to inspiring women scientists to books about birds and insects.

And, of course, we have new fiction for kids, including the latest books by Newbery Medalists Linda Sue Park -- The One Thing You'd Save -- and Meg Medina -- Merci Suarez Can't Dance. For teens, we've got Concrete Rose, the latest from The Hate You Give author Angie Thomas, plus several page-turning new fantasy novels.

Look below for photos of our newest books, and then check them out with our Books to Go program. Happy Reading!!
